God Is In Control

God Is In Control
In the midst of life's chaos, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and lose sight of the fact that God is still in control. As Isaac Craddock aptly pointed out in the introduction to Keith M. Craddock's family Bible study, we must remember that our Heavenly Father is always at work, guiding us through the ups and downs of life. In this blog, we'll explore three essential principles to help you stay grounded in faith: Come to Him, Follow Him, and Leave it up to Him.
#1: Come to Him
Jesus invites us to come to Him in Matthew 11:28-30, saying, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." This promise is a powerful reminder that we don't have to carry our burdens alone. When we come to Jesus, we can lay our worries and fears at His feet, and He will give us rest.
As we come to Him, we must remember that He's not just a distant figure; He's a loving Father who cares deeply about our lives. In 1 Peter 5:7, we're told, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." This verse reminds us that our Heavenly Father is always available to listen and provide comfort.
#2: Follow Him
Following Jesus requires us to trust in His goodness and sovereignty. In Psalm 27:1-14, David declares, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" This psalm reminds us that when we follow Jesus, we don't have to fear the unknown because He's our guiding light.
As we follow Him, we'll encounter challenges and obstacles, but we can take comfort in Romans 8:31, which says, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" This verse reminds us that our Heavenly Father is always for us, and His power and protection are available to us.
#3: Leave it up to Him
Leaving it up to God requires us to surrender our worries and fears to Him. In Deuteronomy 31:6, we're told, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." This verse reminds us that our Heavenly Father is always with us, and we can trust in His presence and guidance.
When we leave it up to God, we must remember that He's in control, and His plans are always better than ours. In Luke 10:19, Jesus says, "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." This verse reminds us that our Heavenly Father has given us authority over the enemy, and we can trust in His protection and provision.
Conclusion
In conclusion, when we come to Jesus, follow Him, and leave it up to Him, we can rest assured that God is still in control. As Isaac Craddock introduced in Keith M. Craddock's family Bible study, these principles can help you navigate life's challenges with faith and confidence.
