God Will Fix Your Life

A family bible study by Keith M. Craddock

 "God Will Fix Your Life"

Do you feel like your life is broken? Like everything is falling apart and you don't know how to put the pieces back together? The good news is that God is a God of restoration. He can take the broken pieces of our lives and fix them.

Immanuel: God with Us

In Matthew 1:23, we read:
"'The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel'—which means, 'God with us.'"
This verse reminds us that God is with us, always. He is Immanuel, the God who is present in our lives, even in the midst of brokenness.

God Hears Our Cries

In Psalm 34:17-18, we read:
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
This psalm reminds us that God hears our cries for help. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep

In Matthew 18:12-13, we read:
"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off."
This parable reminds us that God is a God who seeks out the lost and the broken. He will leave the ninety-nine to find the one that is lost.

Approaching God's Throne

In Hebrews 4:16, we read:
"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
This verse reminds us that we can approach God's throne with confidence, knowing that we will receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God's Compassion and Forgiveness

In Psalm 103:10-12, we read:
"He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
This psalm reminds us of God's compassion and forgiveness. He does not treat us as our sins deserve, but instead removes our transgressions from us as far as the east is from the west.

Conclusion

God is a God who fixes broken lives. He is Immanuel, God with us, who hears our cries for help and seeks out the lost and the broken. Let us approach His throne with confidence, knowing that we will receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
